My fiance and I are moving from Iowa to Denver. We need to live in the Northern suburbs of Denver based on my fiance's job. Trying to plan this from so far away is very hard when I am completely unfamiliar with the area. I was looking for somebody to reccommend apartments in Westminster, Northglenn or Thronton. We want nice, safe and good price. Also, if you have anything to say about Indigo Creek, Ironwood at the Ranch or Red Hawk, I'd appreciate any responses. Thanks!!

Westminster is a nicer area than Northglenn and Thornton. The latter two are closer to the industrial sector of Denver Metro so it's a little rattier in spots with older homes and such. Also, Northglenn and Thornton are near the Mousetrap in Denver which is a huge headache because of all the traffic that moves through there. The Mousetrap is notorious because two interstates, a major highway, and several other roads all intersect there. Westminster is a relatively new suburb of Denver, having grown quite a bit in the past 15 years. The homes and apartments are typically nicer than other areas of Denver. If I were moving here, I'd move to Westminster.

Hi. I think all 3 cities have really nice areas and really dumpy areas. I grew up in Northglenn and liked it alot. My brother lives in a nicer area of Thornton and likes it there as well. I haven't heard of any of those names...assuming they are apartments. If you'd like, I'd be happy to send you a few of those apartment pamplets that you find around town and in grocery stores. What part of N Denver will he be working? If it is around the highway, you could also go with other cities that run along it.

Hi. I'm moving from Georgia to Fort Collins, CO and know how you feel. Here's a website of reviews for Denver apartments from people who have lived there.

Hope this helps. Best wishes and God Bless.
