I'm New to myspace, is 'thanks for the add' something you use when you've asked to be someones friend and they accept your invitation? Or is it when they ask to be YOUR friend?

Its when someone adds you as a friend of course

Thanks for the add is to be used when you recieve a friend request, many get this wrong, if I add you you will be accepting me, not adding me.

It is good manners to thank people that way they know you have accepted them and they can now comment yoru page, if you don't thank them it might take them a pretty long time to notice you especially if they have alot of friends.

when u add some1 and they accept it so u then tell them "thanks for the add"
