You did not give your reason why you think the USA is not the strongest country in the world, so I cannot adequately address your concern. Clearly, however, the USA is by far the wealthiest nation ever to exist on planet earth. Also, militarily, I would not want to be on the wrong side of the USA in a conflict. Strongest? In what? Moral values? Amount of electricity produced? To what do you refer?

militarily, yes... for now. watch out after 40 years a powerful nation will emerge in the east. in the near future this nation in the east will become the beast that can threthen the status quo of the world as it is known today.

If you don't think then why did you ask the question? Can you name any country that is stronger the the US today? I can't. I am willing to bet that nobody else can also.

Probably not, Bush decided to send most of our military personnel over to Iraq. They're either there fighting, or have come home permanently to be buried.
Sorry if I offend anybody like that, but it's my opinion.
