did you know they've had to increase the legth of hypodermic needles in hospitals in order to pierce the fat? I think it's nuts, what do you think?

absolutely they need to be wide enough to get two big ones thru side by side. You cant even complain about obesity without violating a huge PC issue. You cant address it as a doctor because the patient will not come back to you and the only thing they will remember is being called fat!!

I think that American's increasing girth is a *health* problem, not simply a morality issue as some people want us to believe. Increasing the length of hypodermic needles is thus an understandable change, in the same way that bed-length has had to go up since the 1700's because we used to all be very short (in general).

We're seeing little changes already--more restaurants offer healthier sides (salad or fruit instead of chips), and efforts for heart-healthy workplaces are good things. But it took us a few generations to really get to this level of girth, and it will probably take us a good generation to back off of it, as well.

You make a couple of really good points!

Walmart, I'm sure, is responding to the complaints of many customers because the aisle's were too narrow. For the fat bodies, it required one way traffic.

While on the subject of fat bodies, this country needs an arrest policy for disgusting fat bodies who prance around with their girth hanging out! It should fall in the category of disturbing the peace, causing a scene, or endangerment to children. Those kids look at these fat bodies as role models, guess what happens then!

People, look at yourself! Believe what you see, but like a camera add ten pounds, because this is what we see! barf!
