I am very serious here. Does it worry you that the majority (according to the Presidential election) of people seem to be fanatical and uneducated? Do you believe that there is hope? How do you face each day when you are barraged with the likes of Ann Coulter, Rush etc..Do you get discouraged with the ignorance? Are you scared?

Yes, actually I do worry about some things. I hear so many people who scream and shout their own belief's, yet are unwilling to afford others the chance to explain theirs, i.e. that moron on Fox who shouts everyone down, can't think of his name ATM. I do what I can to read up on the candidates and the issues and vote as intelligently as I can. I try to talk to my friends and co-workers about what they think and will sometimes point out other sides of issues that they had not thought of, in the hope of making them more educated voters. But it's sad when someone on the street can name who won American Idol, but can't identify the Vice President. I think, from what I read, this is the least knowledgeable and politically aware generation America has ever endured. I hold out hope for the future generations though.

While I am unhappy with our current regine and I lothe to hear the names Ann Coulter and Rush, I am happy to be in America. I have traveled to many countries and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Instead of us being sad for the US, we need to step up our game and make a difference. Improve things instead of sitting on the sidelines listening to comentary ramblings the media provides us. That solves nothing other than to give us an idea of what the media wants us to know. There is hope as long as there isn't an abundant amount of apathy. If that happens, then we are screwed.

If you let the likes of Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh scare you then maybe you need to move to another country. But hang on because hope is on the way in 2008.

nicely, to assert it it seems that, racism has no place in this international enormously in 2015!! the international is shifting on. yet u see, you have a job in u . s . a . of america to assert the least. different racist chants may be hailed at you, to no longer say for this reason superb and alright to try this. that's the worst element ever to any human. yet come to China, being black is quite like the curse on a pearl!! that's very nearly stressful and so disheartening and dishumanly undesirable to be black in China!! you will no longer actually have a job to hold once you're a great celebrity!! in case you do havea activity, then you definately've long gone via approximately 50,000 purposes to even get one million!! maximum 8 out of 10 jobs, will marketed, ' choose in basic terms whites . It feels like the old apartheid equipment. that's extraordinary right here in China !! No jokes persons.

When you're getting really crazy, seek out the company of other smart people. Watch "Keith Olbermann" and "The Daily Show." To make sure that you don't get blinded by any one side, also listen to NPR and watch shows like "Lou Dobbs." Write your representatives. Maybe join the ACLU.

And remind yourself that at no time in American History was it easy to be the thinking person. Look at McCarthyism. Heck, look at the American Revolution! We had plenty of Tories to deal with even back then....

Because, thinking or not, it is by far better than 95 percent of the other places that are out there. I was in the Army for 8 years...I have seen some real shi*-holes, I have traveled since. I can not think of one place I would rather be, for longer than a vacation.

However, I am open for any viable options you have.

yes its scary. ive got a cousin that has lived in france since 88. they dont have the problems we do. i also worked with some people from denmark, same thing. in fact, theres not a country in the world that has the problems we do, except for the ones that we deal with, which would be the middle east. its easy to sit back and shoot your mouth when thats what your getting paid for. the fact is, all of those people are dead weight on our society. they produce nothing, they help no one, they generate nothing positive, they are just there to make money they dont deserve. discouraged is an understatement.

How do I cope? I shut up and don't say anything to the idiot masses for fear I will be assualted in a dark alley and wash up on some riverbank a few months later.

I can only watch as the dummies in power slowly destroy this great nation. God Save America. No, God save the world.

I'm discouraged by the non-fact based, emotion-ridden rantings of liberal Democrats -- talk about fanatical and uneducated!

Wait...let me clarify that...

I think most liberal Democrats are either over-educated elitists who have no idea what the "real world" is like, or they are members of the lower economic strata of society who are only capable of being influenced by the media and jokers such as the late-night comedians. They have no ability to think for themselves based on evaluation of facts...they only react to emotions.
