He doesn't hate Barca. In fact he was a graduate from the Barca Youth Academy.
Personally, I think, deep down he was angry with the style of play that Blackburn used and with way he played as being under-form.
Also, I see the whole incident as being blown out of proportions since it was already in the past even before it was in the papers. I don't see the disrespect issue, and he (Fabregas) already apologized. Sheesh..... Mark Hughes just wanted some carrot to use for his team in the next replay.

He doesnt he just said to Mark Hughes did you actually play for Barcelona and then Mark Hughes said he had and Fabregas said that the style Blackburn played was not Barcelona style

Why would he!?! He grew up there..played for the youth team..!! He just said once he got more opportunity in Arsenal but thats abt it..he has praised Barca..

umm.. he's actually a braca supporter and he was in the barca youth system. as a matter of fact, in an arsenal tv online interview he says that the first kit he bought was a barca kit...
