for the last 2 months the padle will almost go all the way to the floor if you keep on pumping the padle when preparing to stop. does it every once in a great while. like air in the system or master cylinder going bad. took it to brake check. they did not think it was air or a bad master cylinder going bad. it does it like once every other day for one time only, once you stop it will not do it.

This vehicle most likely has ABS brakes which means it also has an accumulator which is under extreme pressure. You need to continue looking for a trustworthy shop who knows how to diagnose it properly. This system can run up to 2000 /2500 psi, very dangerous if you not very careful. Good luck.

your master cylinder is by-passing.sounds like you need a new 1.if you didnt break any lines or hoses,then there shouldnt be any air in it,unless you got a wheel cylinder leaking and not holding pressure.

what u have a a bad mastercylinder seals that are leaking intermittently. replace the mastercylinder and flush the entire brake fluid system out. this will solve your problem
