Yes, you can pay bit by bit. As long as you're paying something, and prefferably at a rate to be paid off within a year, it should be cool. If you're really concerned, then contact them, otherwise, send them some money, and they'll send you a bill for the remainder etc.

Unfortunately no you can't it has to be paid all up front so I suggest you start saving up so you have more over what you owe so that may mean cutting out extra stuff like going out and shopping frugally.

Yes you can, they are not as mean as you would think. They are not just going to say pay it all now or you are going to jail. As long as they are getting their money it's fine with them.
