I've got 11 dvds so far starting on the 5th of this month...but only 2 came last friday. is netflix known for throttling?

Yes they are known to do this and have been sued over it.

I was getting between 10-12 DVD's for the first two months. then they slowly started to trickle in around 4-6 a month. Because they were slowing down my rentals, I switched over to Blockbuster online and haven't had a problem since.

Dont know, Im starting to wonder that too.
I sent 3 out yesterday, and theyve only reported getting one back, all to the same shipping center

we have had no problems with Netflix... sometimes movies take a bit longer etc... but I think that has more to do with the Postal Service then Netflix...
it also depends on how far or how close you live to the distribution center...
And sometimes that distribution center might not have the movie you requested so they have to get it from a different one that might be farther away....

I've heard this, too. Never tracked it personally, though I've read of people that have conducted studies with multiple accounts and have levied that accusation.

no, i used to have netfilx and never had that problem
maybe you still have one out without having realized. you can only have 3 at a time

They used to, but they were sued, and agreed to stop doing that.
