There is what i believe a plastic object in the cooling system. (long story) I need to know how to get it out without damaging anything.

the hoses to the heater core are not hot but the other ones are. so there is no water going to the heater core.

Flush it and replace the thermostat.

it it inside the radiator,you have to remove the radiator and send it to the radiator shop so he can disassemble and remov ethe plastic object. there is no magic chemical to dissolve the plastic object. anything that dissolve plastic willl melt the engine gaskets,radiator hoses and pipes. you don"t want to see it ,do you?
