I too will tell you first to check the oil... if it's full then it's probably a bad valve... Being that it's a Toyota, it's probably got a few hundred thousand miles on it, so it's probably time to start looking for another more recent Toyota... A rebuilt engine will cost more than the car is worth !

specific. The squeal become the sound of your wiped out substantial bearings yelling for OIL!! as quickly as the engine warmed up the oil thinned and you purchased some lubrication. Now you ran it incredibly low on oil and finally finished killing the main Crankshaft bearings. The Knock is maximum in all threat a Rod Bearing this is undesirable from no oil and extreme positioned on. Your '87 Toyota that become meant to final 'consistently' is lifeless. Throw it away at a salvage backyard after your mechanic confirms my prognosis. grab some money and purchase a extra cutting-edge automobile! extreme pitched squeal over the iciness might have been an adjunct situation with a bearing loss of existence in the alternator or water pump...whether it is not proper in view which you killed it now from no maintenance.

And your spark plugs will have a great factor if one is over corroded then it won't ignite giving you bypass which is burned and unburned gas and acids in your crankcase, you'll find that it's often that you'll just usually have a corroded spark plug....
