Whenever i go back to the same highway off ramps i get the same results.

We have a Windstar minivan as well and our van starts to give that annoying chime noise when it slows past 15 M.P.H. I am trying to figure out the reason as well.
I've heard that Ford unknowingly made doors that would wear out the wires quicker which makes it think they doors are open (even if the door warning light is off.) Sorry I can't help you much.

your door switch is worn out. there is a new improve switch for it.
