I pay $150 a month for Similac, but I use the ready to feed cause it is a little more convenient (but a little more expensive). But, whatever brand you are on, sign up on Enfamil and Similac's websites and they will send you a ton of gift checks, coupons, and free smaples, and then find someone to trade with for the samples of the kind you don't use. Hope this helps! The website for similac is www.welcomeadditions.com, I'm not sure what the Enfamil one is, just do a web search!

first off, people that receive WIC still know how much it costs for formula. It still has to be rung up at the register and it still gives a total. And secondly, it depends on what kind of formula you're trying to use. Nestle Good Start is the cheapest at about $9 a can for powder and a little under $3 for the concentrate or even more for the one with ARA and DHA. And it also depends on how much your baby eats. WIC only gives about 10 cans a month for powder and 31 cans for concentrate. Some babies eat more and others eat less. So it will all depend on how much your little one eats. Good Luck!

Well it just depends on which brand you are going to feed them it can range from 19 to 27 dollars a can and you can bet you will feed them anywhere from 8 to 10 cans per month. I am sure you can do the math. If it such a problem though you could apply for WIC that is why they have it.. to help people out. Wish people would not look down on those who have to use it. I do not like those who abuse it but when you have no other choice. Good luck. I am praying I can breastfeed to help save some money on formula and water.

I pay 19.79 for 2 average size cans of the Costco brand (Kirkland). We go thru about 4 a month. If you don't have a Sam's Club or Costco card, it's a good idea to get one, that 35-45 yearly fee will pay for it's self once you have a baby, the store brands of diapers, wipes and formula are MUCH cheaper then other brands and you get a lot for your money

i bought concntrate, it ended up being equal amount to the can of powder. With my first I had to put her on Soy Formula, and that was about $27 a case, about 4 cases a month. and my second was on regular iron fortified. Again I used concentrate, and was paying about $17 a case. A case had 12 cans and was way easier to mix then the powder stuff.

It depends on what kind of formula you buy. My niece (3 months old) is on Nestly good start. (Her mom signed up on their website to get free samples and money saving checks in the mail) So they spend a bit less on formula. I just signed my brother up using our home address. So soon they will be recieving 2 sets of money saving checks a month. They usually buy 1 can of formula a week. (Just so they have it if they need it). They spend about $25 on a can of formula (with the exception of when they have money saving checks) Which is about once a month. they spend roughly $100.00 a month on formula.

I go to sam's club, or you can go to coscos where you can find it in bulk. theres a membership fee, 40 dollars a yr. I buy mine for $28 similac, a 36 oz can and 2 boxes of 6 packets for on the go. i think my son went thru 2 or 3 a month. once they turn 4 months, you start on solids, and they go thru less. Once you get to know the oz that your child is on, you dont have to waste to much. I rather buy the formula than breastfeed, and I feel its a mothers choice. both are healthy for the child.

mine was on nutramigen and it is $24 a can I used about 8 cans a month so about 200 dollars.
I live in Texas the, normal formulas( enfamil) ( or anything like that ) is about 13 A can but you have to have about 10 cans a month. So about 140 is the normal if your baby is fine on reg. formula. ( mine is allergic to all milk ...cant handle soy either)

Well, I have my youngest son on a store brand, which is $14 per can (powdered). He is now 9 months old, and goes through about 4 cans per month, plus food. Regular brand formulas go for about $22-26 a can (but you can usually find coupons for them). I can't wait til he's on regular milk!

This is one of the dozens of reasons I breastfed.
My friend formula feeds her 4 month old, and its about $140/month. And she supplements with cereal (not recommended before 6 months old), so if baby wasnt getting all that cereal, the formula would be going even faster. I dont know how people afford it.
