strarving themselfs. some of them have one kid dead another near death and the wife is knocked up . why would we continue to feed them when it is only letting more babies be born into that suffering. oh come we dont say ok you can have food if you are fixed. and then offer them some surgical solution . i do know they are given as many condoms as they want but they dont use them so when do we say enough and insist they think about when to have a kid and how they will feed them .

This is a usual problem with third world countries, no different
than any other. And no they are not given as many condoms as
they want, and definitely not a lot of education. I suppose the
question was intended in an undignified manner from the way
it was written but it's a shame that we still have people so low
that they would make disdain remarks about starving and
dying children. I guess we will always have these types of
animals in the world. If we are really looking towards a radical
solution, maybe nations should band together and run all
of the white south africans out of South Africa and take the
diamonds and minerals that they have exploited and make
fair world trade to other nations so that we can educate and

No doubt the reason poor Africans have large families is the same reason American farmers in the 1800s had large families; infant mortality made it very likely that only a fraction of the children would live. Lack of mechanization meant a lot of hands were needed to tend the fields and to take care of the family. And cultures tended to look up to people with large families, especially a lot of sons. This added to the prestige of the family and the mother. Personally, I had a great grandmother who told her mother her ambition in life was to have more children than her mother had.
