my cuzin has a ps3 and it sucks. it doesnt even come with the hi-def cables. and u still have to push that stupid button in the back like the ps2 to turn it on. the 360 can be turned on with the controller, it costs less, and it has better graphics even in hi-def. ive seen madden and live 07 in hi-def on both systems and the 360 looks better, even with the ps3's HDMI ports. plus the 360 has better games. also, sony will never be able to pull off online gaming like xbox live. if someone gave me a ps3, i would just sell it to some loser who thinks its cool. i wouldnt even bother playing it. if u asked this question because you wanted to buy one, i hope u make the right choice. also, a friend of mine works at EB and even he doesnt like the ps3 and he is a game freak!

First of all, the PS3 does not have little disks. Whoever wrote this is completely thinking of the psp. PS3 disks are exactly the same size to a 360 disk in appearence. As far as the amount of info, the PS3 disk can hold almost twice as much info as a 360 disk.

With that settled, I will tell you first hand I own both the 360 and the PS3. I am not at all impressed with the PS3 at all. I still prefer playing my 360 at every chance I get. There has been way too much hype about the PS3 and it's graphics, there is really no difference that I can clearly see at this point. Keep in mind though that the PS3 disk is capable of sooooo much more than whats available right now. Once the game designers start harnnessing this the PS3 games will eventually out do the 360. For all the 360 owners you all know that the first few games available for the 360 were great as far as graphics go, but look how they have evolved...Look at Gears of War. They actually were able to utilize all it's capabilities in graphics. Ps3 isn't there yet. But eventually they will and once they do, then the graphics will be amazing.

The 360 offers so much more than the PS3 right now. The dashboard feature is one of the best concepts to date. There is nothing better than being able to sign on to the xbox dashboard and download first rate movies, videos and television series from ABC,NBC,Comedy Central and so many others to choose from. Also another great feature is the penny arcade. This penny arcade offers dozens of other games offered for a small fee, 3.00 or so this feature lets you download games such as Doom, Galaga, Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, Defender, Mortal Combat 3, Dig-Dug, Street Fighter 2 and soooo many more to choose from. The best thing about this feature is after paying the few dollars these games are saved on your hard drive and yours forever.

399.99 for the 360-so much to offer for so much less
599.99 for the PS3- so overly priced in so many ways

360!!! It's 200 dollars cheaper and has better games. 360 has halo, halo 2, and will have halo 3, plus gears of war and gears of war 2 when it comes out. i personally liek the controllers better for the 360 too. The only thing ps3 has going for it is that the graphics are better, but graphics arent everything and the 360 still has excellent graphics. I have an xbox 360, i have had no problems with it, i love the selection of games, and xbox live is awesome. My friends brother in law has the ps3, which is very fun. It doesn't have a very good game selection yet, however. The graphics rock, but i dont like the controllers. If you wanted to wait for more ps3 games to come out and have the money, it might be better, but for now, i definitely recommend the 360.

I support and second the opinnion of locowherto... I do own both system myself and I do own more than one xbox 360, which is the system I take on my travels!!

PS3 is good, but it lacks so many things (online playing done right, games availability, etc) PS3 will take force in a few years, and, unless, you are a person that wants a specific game for a specific console then there is no point in comparing... as all of the cross titles look the same on both consoles.

I like the xbox 360 it is cheaper, has all the same games (except final fantasy 13 and one more that i don't know the name of), the graphics are about the same, & the playstation 3 is still having major problems with the consoles not working right

Let's face it, the ps3 is newer and better. It can do everything the 360 can and more. PS3 is WAY better than the ps3. The only one that stands a chance is the Wii. But you only asked about the ps3 and the 360. I'll go with the ps3.

i prefer xbox 360. xbox 360 is better because its not as expensive as a ps3, better online gameplay, and it has tons of games that i like. :)

xbox 360 if you want one now and ps3 if you can wait a couple of days to find. They are both great systems and I don't regret buying either of them.

See, you've got all the King of Fighters and Final Fantasys, you don't get that on the XBOX!!!

I believe the decision should be based on availability of games, also ps3 has blue chip!

Xbox 360 cuz it costs less and ps3 has little disks and u can lose them
