You'll get back pay for January for CCTB and Universal Child Care Benefit ($100/month) back pay from January aswell. I just did this last May, when my daughter was born, and got my first payment from each three months later, but both were retroactive. Hope this helps :)

They pay retroactively. Which means they backpay you to the month the child is born in. I would be shocked if you got the $ in February, tho- my son was born in March, sent in the info within 2 weeks, and I didn't get the CCTB until July.
good luck though!!

My son was born October 1st...but we never got a payment for october. I was told that it doesn't get paid the month the child is born...so our first payment was November. Also, make sure you sign up for the Child Care Subsidy as well ($100.00 per child per month)

I think if it is the same when my kids were born, it will come 3 months after you apply with back pay.

I hope this helps!
