Sorry is a strategy and kindness word. You can say you are sorry to gain stronger strategy or offer kindness when you have been foolish. No, the hardest word to say is very simple. The word is: NO. You wouldn't think it, would you? But think of all the people you have met in your life thusfar who have so often said yes when they wished they had said no because that is what they were feeling. It is perfectly okay to say NO, but everyone seems to have trouble with this word. Everybody wants to please others. You say yes to keep things smooth. But inside you wish you had had the courage to tell the truth about yourself and simply say NO. I would go with the word NO as the hardest word in the world to say, even when you know you would mean it.

It can be hard and it can be easy. Those who say but don't mean won't find it hard because they are lying about it so no emotion is needed! However if someone truly means it then it is much harder to say becuase most of the time they are trying to win someone back. Creating the right words to go with sorry is much harder than it looks!

i know people who lie and have an I'm sorry out before the damage is done and they could care less, they anticipate being challenged but they have the upper hand when they only need the moment to lie to get what they want then and the rest can be left for the I'm sorry treatment~vaguely sound familiar?
