yea how do i use the word "duel" in a sentence. just type out a sentence for me, and if it makes sence ill choose you for my best answer

Look up the word "duel", it means any contest between two persons or parties. Once you know the meaning you can use it in a sentence that makes sense to you.

Note: Amdrmgirl's answer is wrong. Sorry, but a "duel" is a fight, usually planned in advance, between two people.

"Dual" is the proper word to use when talking about a pair of objects like "dual exhaust". Another example in videogames is the term "dual wielding", where you can use two weapons at a time, one in each hand.

Duel with that spelling means either a sword or gun fight. One of the most famous in U. S. history was between political rivals Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton in 1804

Aaron Burr challenged Alexander Hamilton to a duel. Hamilton was mortally wounded by Burr during the duel.
