can there possibly be 3 modes here? (11,12 & 13)

13, remember, mode=most. and they kind of sound alike !! three modes ARE possible, but 13 is still the mode

When there are values that occur with the same frequency then each is a mode and the data set is said to be multimodal. But if you look at your question, 13 appears three times. The other are only two. SO the mode would be 13. But if it had been only twice then there would have been three modes.

13 is the mode because it occurs MOST often.

11&12 occur twice
But 13 occurs three times.

13 because the mode is the number that occurs them most.
