Ronny Robbins has mentioned his dad working on the original version of El Paso and having as many as fifteen verses- can anyone locate the lyrics for this extended version of the often-shortened classic?

Hmmm. That's true. The original was at least five minutes long. I haven't heard the original on the radio in years. Don't know, maybe contact a C&W radio station or Google Marty Robbins? Maybe the website www.jayski.com (NASCAR) can help you. Marty did run some NASCAR races way back when.

Out in the West Texas Town of El Paso, I fell in Love with a Mexican girl. I'm from El Paso but never fell in love with a Mexican Girl. A few guys yes but not girls. Hope you find your lyrics.
