back up disk for computer?

what are the steps that I need to do a backup disk for my computer? I have an older computer and need to do a backup disk but not sure how to do it. Please help. I have windows xp home edition.

Um, You should of have gotten a back up disc with your computer, and if not then you have to buy it seperatly from your pc manufacture!!! Costs Around $50!!

the easy way is to use backup (start -> all programs -> accessories -> system tools)
