I've stayed at Port Orleans and Caribbean Beach and liked them both. Next time I go to Disney I would like to stay at Coronado Springs and am wondering how it compares to the other Moderate Resorts.

It is quite beautiful. As far as how it compares to other moderates, they all have the same amenities.

It is also quite large, so you may have a short hike to the busses or parking lot.

Coronado Springs isn't really that different from any of the other moderate-price Disney resorts. One difference is that the resort often is used for conventions, so a lot of groups tend to flock there. The atmosphere and theming are nice. The resort is also in close proximity to the Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios theme parks as well as the Blizzard Beach water park.

Of the moderates, it is my favorite. I like them all, but I think Coronado is nicer. You have a few more options of where to eat, right on property, the theme is beautiful, it isn't quite as large Caribbean but not quite as small as Port Orleans.

The best thing about Cornado is that it is used for a lot of conventions. This means that a lot of the guests may be there on business, so it tends to be a really quite resort. I think that the atmosphere is more like a deluxe resort, for the cost of a moderate.

I think it is a great resort, but for the most part, all the moderates have the same benefits.

Hope this helps!

Coronado Springs is my favorite of the moderate resorts as well. I love the architecture and the grounds. This is the largest moderate resort on Disney property. It is large because it is knows as Disney's "Convention resort." They have dozens of huge convention halls to accomodate conferences, reunions, and all sorts of events. These convention rooms are located on the opposite end of the guest rooms, so you won't have to worry about convention traffic.
The pool is amazing and you can kayak on the lake!
Enjoy delicious mexican food at the Pepper Market. And you can purchase one-of-a-kind Mayan and Aztec influences collectibles at the gift shops!
