Yes, I support the war.
Yes, I have friends, family and associates that have/are fighting there.
Yes, some of them have died and some have been injured.
Truth is, since I am no longer eligible for military service any more I have applied for several jobs in Iraq and Afghanistan. Few are chosen, even in the military.

Yes, I support the war. Read the Iraq War Resolution for the purpose of the war.
I agree that a war should be the latest and the least alternative to solve a conflict, but sometimes it has to be done.
There is no such thing as supporting the troops but does not support the war, because the troops sent are all volunteers, and they know what war they are going to be sent to.
At the time of the beginning of the war, most Americans support the President's decision. Even long before Pres. Bush got into office (when Bill Clinton was in power), Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and other Democrats admitted that Saddam Husein had WMD, and now they were all never admitted that. They are flip-flopping according to the political wind.
Yes, I admit that Pres. Bush might have a wrong strategy in the war in Iraq, but people we have to finish the job. Do you know what is the consequences in pulling out? Look at what happened to Vietnam when America pulled out. Do not lose your stomach to fight. In order for the world to have peace, the terrorists must be destroyed, not to be negotiated.

I'll tell you what, I try to be supportive of the President of the US no matter who that may be because I feel that is my duty as a citizen. However, I do not always agree with decisions and actions made by that person and sometimes they make mistakes. The war in Iraq was a big mistake and should never have been started. Now, I really do not see how America can now leave that country without the neighboring countries taking it over. Since it looks like a no-win situation no matter what action is taken, wouldn't it be prudent to not send more of our folks where so many will die?
No, I don't know anyone serving there.

I would have to say no without any doubt in my mind. The reason for this is I think after 9-11 we were on the correct path going into Afghanistan and trying to find osama. But where everything went bad was when Bush decided to go and get Saddam. My feelings on this is he killed the wrong man. There was no tie at all with Saddam and Osama. I have no idea what he was thinking going in there. We still don't have Osama and everyday we lose soldiers over there for the wrong reason. I think it was a terrible mistake by Bush and now our soldiers and this country are suffering the consequences. If another attack were to happen here I think Bush should be impeached.
One more thing I am Republican but there is no way I can support a Mad Mans actions.

No, I do not. The current administration made the decision to attack Iraq even before 9/11, and then cooked the intelligence to justify what they'd already decided to do.
Iraq was not a hotbed of terrorists before the war (there were a lot more terrorists coming out of Saudi Arabia), but it is now. We have made things much worse for the Iraqis and for ourselves by this war.
I support our troops over there, and I do so mainly by trying to bring them home.

I support the War on Terrorism of which Iraq is a part of being a third of the Axis of Evil which the President clearly identified at the outset of the War and Congress concurred at the time.
I will continue support regardless of the level of "Pussification" back here at home.

yes or no answer in yahoo will give you a slanted version of who thinks which way and the poll is really not very scientific. this having been said -- for the average "Joe" that I am, and most of us are, lets recognize it, what we think is not very important at this stage. an elected president given his powers has decided on the war but not the outcome. this is what counts now and we should all be supportive until we see the end of the tunnel. i am afraid it is a long and dark tunnel, so far. hope it helps.

I do not support the war in Iraq, but if we withdraw now, what would happen to the Iraqi's Civilians. If we stay there longer then more of our troops will die, but if we withdraw then the Civilians in Iraq will die far worse than are troops dying in Iraq trying to accomplish their missions in Iraq.

i think wars are not the solution to agression ,if any it feeds it ,and they are always financial ventures ,never moral ones ,although that is always used to sway the masses,And they have the most to lose ,like their sons
in History ,Terrorism has often been used as a straw for the camels back ,Hitler blew up his parlement to fire up hate for the Jews, and Nero did the same by burning Rome
bombing thousands of women and children cannot be good from everybodies point of view ,exept Americans & Brittish maybe
