how do i transfer to a portable?

i'd like to know how to transfer a cd to a jump drive can someone tell me how ?

Copy and Paste. Open My computer and select the CD ROM to display the files. Highlight the files, right click and select copy. Now select and open the removable media (which should display your jump drive). Place the cursor in the empty space, right-click and select paste

The easiest way is to drag and drop the files. If you don't know how to do this, a simple capy paste will also work. Select the files on the CD and then ctrl-C - open the jump drive then do a ctrl v.
