Anna Nicole vs Marilyn Monroe?

Am I the only one who is sick and tired of Anna Nicole being compared to Marilyn Monroe??? Marilyn had more class in her little finger (and brains too) than Anna could ever halucinate in her drugged up mind!

the only similarity between the two is that they both led sad lives wanting to be loved but not being able to trust anyone. they also both asked for their celebrity which comes with not being able to trust people. they came from 2 different times. anna nicole had reality tv among other things that marilyn didn't have. they were both sad creatures but unlike marilyn, anna nicole left behind a poor little baby who hopefully will fare better in life than her mother did. yes i am SICK of the exploitation of it all also. but how long has marilyn been gone and she is still being exploited too?

A local writer related this thought: They say that Marilyn Monroe was like a candle in the wind, and I think Anna Nicole was more like a bonfire in a hurricane. I think that pretty much sums it up. No need to belittle poor Anna, she'd done that just fine all by herself.

There's no comparison. Anna was not in the the same league as Marilyn. Marilyn was a natural beauty who could act. Anna's reality show was terrible. She was mean and hateful to just about everybody she encountered!
They both had their share of problems. Hopefully, they will rest in peace.

I don't know that much about Marilyn, but I do know a lot about Anna because she's so in everyone's face trying to be like Marilyn. There's no comparison. Marilyn wins hands down.

You have to admit, they are both very smart women and both beautiful. They both had times in their life that they were the same and they both dies (probably) the same way. I said they were smart because Anna was just a small town girl, happened to get in Playboy, and married that rich man to get his money because she knew he would die soon. you dont have to be a genius to think of that but you do have to be a genius to actually do it like she did. Marilyn was smart because she stayed in the spotlight and the attention was on her. They are both very beautiful and they both were smart women. I don't think there is any reason to complain that they are being compared because I am sure she is more like Marilyn than you are. And just to let you know, Marilyn did drugs too so you can't just say that about Anna.

I honestly think they were equal...both were using drugs to deal with the demons in their closets, drugs that played a part in their deaths. Additionally and as a feminist I hate to type this, but they were both...well...whores. Marilyn slept with Kennendys and Anna with a old multi-millionaire.

I don't think Anna Nicole was not as dumb as everyone would like to believe, she managed to get herself and a child out of Mexia, Texas, get into playboy, get a guess campaign and get a show on E!...all this as a single mom. She was from all accounts a pretty good mom, who was very close to her son. I think the saddest part of her death is her daughter who will grow up motherless and brotherless.
