I actually like chacha.com. If you can't find what you're looking for you can actually ask a real person on the website.

Most seem to think you're asking about SEARCH function - I guess because of "google" in there. Well, I've never thought of AOL as a general public search engine ..... and Google DOES now have it's own (pathetic as yet) IM, called GoogleTalk, so I assume we're comparing IM programs. (phew!) Of those 4 I'd rate Yahoo 9/10 MSN 6/10 (though their new v.8 Beta "WLM" gets a 7/10)(see link below) AIM 5/10 GoogleTalk 1/10 (though I haven't checked it for a coupla months - they MUST improve!).

Google has the most advanced search algorithm, which rates websites by the number of pages linking to that page. Thus, those pages more pages link to than others appear on top of the search ressults. This has proven to be (until now) the best way to sort results.

They're all good, but Google finds me those hard-to-find sites.
