okay
this is quite simple, just look below
y=1/2x-4
y=-3/2x+1

what you do is put them in one equation

1/2x-4 = -3/2x+1

then move all the x's in one side and all the none x's on the other side

1/2x + 3/2x = 1 + 4

4/2 x = 5

x = 5/2
for the second equation replace the y from the first equation with the 2nd equation

3x + 2 (-3/2x+1) =14 I think you can do this on your own now.

same with the 3rd question
1/2(-1) - 4

do you get it at all?
