It's an Accuweather thing. They combined the wind chill, heat index and some other factors to make another temperature index.

The real feel is what they are calling the Wind Chill. That's what it fells like with the humidity/ Dew point and wind speed all calculated in.

"Real Feel" is a concept half-made up my Accuweather. It's simply the wind chill or heat index depending on the season.

They place a damp cloth over a thermostat bulb, it will grow colder as the wind blows over it thus giving the wind chill factor that we all feel when out and about.

isint this what Accuweather or the weather channel uses? its pretty much a slightly reworked Heat index and wind chill measurement in order to get themselves viewers and hits to a site.
