Depends, if it is a company vehicle, or they give you a car allowance, they definitely can. If you are parking on company property, and/or you are known to be associated with the company, and the sticker is abusive, racist, or offensive, I would seriously consider it could be a violation of your employment agreement as regards moral behaviour. We are guessing, because you haven't told us what the sticker is.

If its your own private transport that's not used to carry out your work duties then its none of your employers business but I doubt he will terminate you on the grounds of your bumper sticker, instead he will terminate you for a more plausible and possibly fabricated excuse such as tardiness etc. Guess it boils down to how much you want your job versus principle, principle don't pay the rent or the car though... good luck

No that's your personal property. Unless you use your car for work. They may be able to have you park off of business property though. If people are complaining about your bumper sticker try and find a parking spot were you can back in and customers wont see it.

If it is offensive, obscene, derogatory or it refelcts an opinion that goes against the company policy and the car is parked on their property, of course they can and rightly so. If you need to express an opinion and want to put it in a public forum (like an auto bumper), think about what it is that you're saying. If you wouldn't say it in "polite society", you probably shouldn't put it on your car.

I realize there are people who maintain the "Right to Free Speech" gives you the right to express your opinion; however, as they say, "Free Speech doesn't give you the right to yell 'Fire' in a movie theatre".

if you park youyr car on the companies parking lot or use it for any type of company use. Yes they can. You should get a magnetic one made up and take it off before you get to work and put it back on after .

If you're parked on the company's property, yes. Basically if you work for someone you cannot bad mouth your boss or the company in any way.

In addition to what the others said, if you push the issue, they will just get what they want some other way. (fire you, make life miserable, transfer you to bumf**k, egypt, put you on nightshift/weekends) "I' gonna need you to come in on ahhh SUNDAY!" " We need you in building 68 (average temperature:108 degrees) "you are promoted to field services..........you will only be gone 2 weeks at a time" "You're affected by our downsizing effort......sorry" Get it?

Most likely they can. In America, the doctrine of "Employment at will" prevails. You can be fired for any reason or no reason, provided that your employer does not violate your civil rights.
