DeLL 1501 v.s DeLL 6400?

Question

I am gonna buy one of them, cant decide which one

DeLL 1501 is : AMD Turion X2 Dual-core 1.6(1MB cache) , 1GIG RAM , 256MB ATi Xpress (of which 128 is shared i think) , 80 GB Hard-drive

DeLL 6400 is : Intel CORE DUO 1.73(2MB cache) , 512 MB RAM , 256MB Intel GMA 945/950 , 80/100 GB HD

The only difference b/w them is: 6400 have these Media Shortcut buttons infront of it & has blutooth. On the other hand the 1501 have no Media Shortcuts infront of it & has no Bluetooth

I am an occasional gamer. So keeping that in mind, which one of these will give me better prefomance OVERALL ?

Go with the 1501. The 6400 series is the business class and runs under that support class.

I wouldn't go with either one.

Step up a notch or two. Ensure it's able to make full use (and certified for) Vista.

You are especially light on the video card (no pun there). It needs more memory so you can see the Aero Glass featues in Vista.

Also, make sure you have a good hard drive, like 5400 or 7200 rpm. A lot still come with slower drives which really slows down the pc.
