Have you ever considered all the negative results of imperialism? Try reading "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad, and you'll understand why colonization brought more bad than good, as seen in Africa's current situation, a direct result of European rule.

No, dear. If we had followed through on what we claimed as our Manifest Destiny and properly prepared the native populations to administer their countries according to principles of love, they would be successful now. What we did was rape the lands for their wealth of natural resources and not allow the native people the education or administrative experience they required to care for their own. Then we left them high and dry and all hell broke loose. (I taught history since god was a boy)

caucasian rule depleted nations of their material opulence during colonialism, leaving them extremely poor and unindustrializd. the french in french indochina, used and exploited natural resources WITHOUT really developing hte region and left once their job was nearly complete. colonialism was bneficial in that it introduced the colonized nations to a vast ocean of knowledge, but it caused these wars you speak of, if colonialism never happend, people wudln't be killing their own kind abt such pecadilloes.
