I need to draw a picture for art class that shows an emotion (eg. happiness, contentment, sadness, lonelyness). Anyone have any ideas for what i can draw? By the way i suck at drawing espcially when it comes to drawing people so please keep it simple. thanks.

Well for loneliness maybe a square frame representing a window with a black silhouette of a person inside - outside lots of black silhouettes together. Sadness could be another rectangle representing a gravestone and a hunched black silhouette over it with dropping flowers held loosely almost falling. Happiness could be a matchstick figure in a jumping for joy type of pose and with a smiley face.

think of things that cause such emotions, like what makes you happy, if a christmas tree makes you happy, draw that.

or think of scenes that resemble an emotion. like draw a beach setting, that could represent contentment.
