If you are asking about the bird - symbol of Greece, it's the eagle with the two heads. It was the symbol of the Byzantine Empire and it's being used today by the Church, the Army and some football teams.
The two heads on the eagle are symbolizing the power of the Byzantine Empire in the East and the West.

As far as I know the country has no such symbols other than the flag and national Anthem. Country bird, or tree or anything else are Anglo-Saxon concoctions in search of identity. The Greeks have not had such problems. However, I must admit that the country insect must be the fat August fly.

Sri Lanka bro. properly we've this aspect suggested as the Esala Perahera. Esala ( July) the position a parade commences Now this parade is in the honor of the Buddha tooth it may seem stupid to you (or no longer) yet each and each and every of the products of the Buddha is holy to boot as sacred. So because it is the islands important faith we've a parade around the city of the position it stay (Kandy , do not keep in suggestions the city call ) And it has that is personal palace to boot. suggested as the Dalada (tooth) Maligawa (palace) The free translation will be the temple of the tooth relic. that is fairly relaxing to observe. and fairly interesting. attempt posting this in Polls and Surveys , you'll get alot more beneficial people
