My home is clean. A friend in this complex expressed the same problem. She also said that her kitchen was very clean, all food sealed up . . . Just need to know how to get rid of the ants. Thanks for your reply. I'll consider that idea with the others.

Put those poison ant caps around where you see the ants. They take the bait back home and that ends the problem. Takes a few days and you don't have to be spraying poison on every surface in your home.

First off ants only come in when there is a food source. Find the spot that the ants are heading to and clean that up really well so you know what they are going after. Then buy some ant bait and put it at the place the ants enter your apartment. In the future just keep it cleaner.

I had this problem yrs ago,I'm a clean freak, and needed to evict these hideous insects,I tried many different things but what really worked, was, the ant traps, you poke out the holes, the ants crawl in and take the poison back to the nest,Its sad they think they are feeding the queen!but OH WELL!This wont work over night ,the cycle needs to take place! It's been 7 or 8 yrs and guess what?No ants(dont forget to get TOO many traps, this is just the right amount!!!!

I lived in Fla.and had ants galore, used Taro ant killer.Get it at home depot, loews, home improvement stores. Put a drop on a piece of card board..Put it where kids and pets can't find it!Nice dark places..behind the toaster, etc. It's amazing how the ant's love this stuff! Also a natural killer-mix some canned cat food(tsp) alittle baking soda, then some grape jelly on a piece of card board. bing bang boom..all gone after a week!

Our neighbors have the little beasties and now I have them in my condo-you aren't my neighbor and my condo is spotlessly clean. I use cucumber peels on the doorways-ants hate the smell of them and if dogs or children or cats get hold of them- no problem. Raid ant traps work great if you don't have dogs or kids or cats.
