I drove my car earlier this morning and my turning signal made a sound, but now it wont. I know the signal works, but that ticking sound wont come on. Any reason?

I went to see if the lights worked, and i saw that it did, but if I leave the signal on long enough, the sound will come on, but not right away

you might want to get a friend to stand outside your car and see if there are any bulbs burnt out. If one is burned out, your blinkers won't work. Your flasher might be bad, and it costs about 4 bucks. It's a round quarter-size fuse about 3/4 inches tall and is somewhere under the steering column or around the fuse box.

Some of the newer turn signal devices are very soft when they work.

The little guy that makes the sound in your dash is dead.
