Can anyone give me a step by step to the easiest way to get my site in the top 10 rankings?

That is very hard.
1)Get a good site with good content and SEO
2)Get site into search engines
3)Market it well using articles and viral marketing
4)Undertake a good links strategy
5)Rinse and repeat
Expect to take 1 - 3 months to get into the majors and then about 1+ years or $100k to get to first page
Don't believe the companies that gaurantee top 10 listings - it can't be done! Not even Google gaurantees this.

In google to get a high ranking. You have to focus on the content of your site. Also you want to get backlinks to your site. It take a while to get a ranking on your site.Get as much traffic as you can.

In order to get your site ranked highly you will need more content and lots of backlinks.
You can add more content to your website by just including descriptions of all of your products.
Obtaining backlinks can be done through article marketing (its free and works very well).

I have a real estate website, but SEO are all the same regardless of what business your in and have a website.
Read my info and apply to your site.
in short, it's not that hard, but it does take some work on your part. and yes you can do it yourself w/o paying people money.

I really don't know about google but on yahooanswers.com you can just go to 1 question and keep typing in hi or random stuff.
