They don't.
If Bush would've listened to reason before launching his invasion, Iran wouldn't be taking over.
Your link does nothing to support your assertion, by the way.

Wow, the Ayatollah in Iran doesn't like the US interfering in Middle East policies. Not exactly news. Didn't see the Democrats even mentioned in the article though, or anything about Iran taking over Iraq. Sure you read it?

They don't, although the Shia majority in Iraq probably wouldn't mind very much. The problem with the current strategy is that the American presence in Iraq is pissing off the Sunni minority - who sure as sweet Jesus don't want Iran to come hurtling over the border - while sabre-rattling at Iran and Syria is annoying the Shia. Result? Everybody hates America! Sing it with me now...

because perhaps they just want no more americans dying over there. This is likely a democrat vs republican view point since most people in the army etc dont own stock in Halliburton and therefore arent eligible to be Republicans. Since they are doing all the dying and not making the big bucks they dont have any incentive to stay!!

its going to happen anyway. Saddam H was a Sunni Muslim. Iran is a Shiar Moslem Country. Iraq is a Sunni Muslim country(because the people in charge were Sunni Muslim) Iraqs population is predominately Shiar Muslim. Iraq and Iran were at to stop Iraq becoming shiar Muslim. that is why USA supported them during that war. When USA invaded Iraq and gave them Democracy they reverted to being shiar. So in a sense USA hepled Iran by Invading Iraq

Wow, you got A LOT from an article which didn't say anything at all! It is the Republicans who want Iran to take over Iraq because they got rid of the only person who the Iraqis listened to...Yes, they feared him, but they kept their lines that they were Iraqis. Everyone told them this was going to be the result, and did the "Decider" listen? No.
