i was just wondering if any team in the nhl has ever had an undefeated regular season...cause my team just did it 2 years in a row

But the longest undefeated streak is 35 games by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 79-80 season. And the most wins in a season was Detroit Red Wings in 95-96.

In the modern NHL with all 82 games? Theoritically, it's possible, but highly unlikely. Maybe back in the Original Six Era and before there was one, but nothing's coming to mind so I don't think so. There could also be one pre-NHL too, when Stanley's Cup was awarded to another league operated by the Patrick brothers. But again, nothing's coming to mind, so I don't think so.

I'm sure you're team doesn't have 82 game seasons.

given the number of games (much higher then yours, I would think) I sincerely doubt it. And no team has never gone without a win.
