Your keyboard should have a button called "PrintScreen" or some abbreviated version of that. When you get to the screen you want to capture, press this button. This "copies" the image on your screen to the clipboard, which is basically just a little internal short-term storage area on your computer.

Then, open up an image editor (like Microsoft Paint) and "paste" the image you just captured into a new file. In most programs, you can do this by pressing Ctrl+V. Crop the resulting image to your liking to get rid of any extraneous stuff.

In most versions of Windows, you can also view what's on the clipboard (to make sure you're pasting the right thing) by going to Start > Run, and typing "clipbrd".

Hope this helps!

It's there in memory! You just normally don't see it.

Normally you go to another program, like word, and do an edit/paste.
