In America at the moment is the general opinion on Bush at the moment positive or negative? How many believe what he says is happening? Must be a fair few considering he's still president (however dodgy the circumstances of that election!)

the latest Polling Point results show that 58% of Americans polled wish the Bush Administration was over. Only 43% say he is honest and trustworthy. There are other interesting results at the url cited below.

His approval ratings are low, but that doesn't mean that most Americans don't trust him. What did he say is happening? Do you think he's just making things up? That's a pretty ignorant way to look at things. What dodgy circumstances. Are you referring to the 2000 election where there was controversy over Florida, a very conservative state. If Gore had won Florida, then I would have my doubts. You can't be referring to the 2004 election, since that wasn't even close.

The last time I saw a approval rating for Bush, it was about 30%.

And even if most of the population doesn't approve of what he is doing, having him removed from office is difficult when the Congressional body that handles it (the Senate) is near perfectly split between Republicans and Democrats.

Any True American Trusts the President.Of course, there are a handful of miscontents that will throw him under the bus.
Of course all the things he says are happening....just have to stop reading the Liberal Publications. Try these, they are honest and real

It depends on your tax bracket.People who are low income will say no since he has reduced the amount of time a able bodied person can stay on Welfare. If you ask someone who makes a good living they might not care for him,but when you consider the Democratic tax and spend Socialist party as the alternative...now thats scary!!!

As of the end of last week, according to several independent polling organizations, fewer than one in four of us trust George Bush, and a slim majority believe he and his vice-president should be impeached, tried, convicted and imprisoned. A significant minority of us would go a step further and see them tried before the World Court for war crimes!

Decent everyday folks did, and do.

We're unimpressed by liars who make up lies about a decent man - we've seen that kind before and we're not fooled one bit. That kind doesn't know we exist until they tally the votes at the polls.

All polls show that about 30% of Americans still have a "favorable" opinion of Bush. About 70% are sick of him and his pro big business policies. The 30% who stil support him are so out of touch they would support him if he ordered martial law and started killing people in America.
