How can I make a new profile on my Xbox 360?

I want to play two player with my friend, but I need another profile.
Step by step, how can I do this?

Once you turn on the system, sign your profile out and then select the sign in tab. Once you do this, look down at the bottom of the blade that pops up, and it will say press 'Y' to create a new profile. That's all there is to it.
