about the same as what i think of dogs who make their owners go naked

It's really up to the dog. Some dogs love it. I was in Maui and there was a Jack Russell Terrior who was on the boat to Molikini. He wore a straw hat and sunglasses and seemd to think he was a person. He hung with everyone and was so friendly. He seemed to love the outfit.
My Belgian Sheperd will not wear anything. He had to wear an Elizabethan collar and he bucked like a bronco. I took it off before he destroyed the whole house. So if the dog hates it he will take it off. My mother-n-law's dog loved it.

my opinion is that the person that goes and buys clothes for there dogs either have to much money so they go and waist it on the dogs or the dog has a skin problem. But for those people that just do it because it's cute.. GET A LIFE. use the money for good. there are people out there that need money..Donate it to a community.

My opinion varies because dog breeds vary. Some little cute dogs love to dress up and squiggle around to flattery and have their picture taken. While some of my other dogs are miserable if we even try to put a coat or sweater on them when it's ice cold and they need their shots at the Vet!! But people who "MAKE" their dogs do Anything they Don't Need to Do, shouldn't have a dog or all the love from one!! @8-) That's what you asked me for, right? Consider that the opinion of a Dog Mama with 4 dogs called The Babies!!! (Empty-Nest Syndrome) @8-)

i do no longer think of there is something incorrect with putting a sweater or coat on a dogs while the temperatures get chilly, to ward off them from freezing, yet there's a difference between dressing a dogs for the factors and dressing them up considering you handle them like little human beings. I advise, ok, i'm responsible of dressing my dogs up in stupid outfits now and lower back in basic terms for a snicker (I advise, who hasn't placed their dogs in a Halloween dress as quickly as?) yet those people who've certainly little "outfits" for their dogs that they modify each and daily are complete sickos.

My neighbour has a small yappy type dog, I think it's a miniature terrier, it's either extremely nervous/happy/excitable or very, very cold, as it shakes uncontrollably whenever you see it, the damn thing looks like it buzzes. If it's cold then by all means give it a coat to wear so it can stop the shakes, other than that NO! Dogs have a coat already...

When I tried to put clothes on my kitten, he informed me that they have a special place in hell reserved for people who do things like that. Regardless of how "cute" the demented human in question thinks it is. And he's fairly sure that it's the same for dogs.

I used to think that people who dressed their dogs were idiots, i had a big furry samoyed husky for 14 years.... some time after he passed , rescued an abandoned lhasa apso from the pound....she actually needs to wear a sweater when outside in the cold or she shakes../shivers . little dogs seem to get colder faster...so, i guess i'm one of those idiots now....lol it's all good, my dog rules!!

a little strange. a sweater if the dog is going for a walk in the cold is ok if the dog is always inside anyway.

actually it's as strange as having a party for a dog and serving dog birthday cake or whatever. that's really wierd.

it can be cute, but some people definitely overdo it. also, you have to pay attention to how the dog reacts to it. if it seems happy, then he/she is not bothered by the clothes. I've seen dogs that have looked miserable in whatever outfit their owner has put on them and you can tell they want out of it. that's not right
