When you know the gender of the baby, it really makes things alot easier. I do suggest having it before the baby comes because you'll want to have everything ready and you'll know what you still need to buy based on the things you didn't get as gifts.

I had my shower a month before my due date. It's a nice thing to look forward to at the end of the pregnancy when you are tired of just waiting for the baby to come.

Sometime at the beginning of the third trimester is good. You are pretty sure to carry the baby to term at that point, and by then you should have an idea of the sex. It gives you time to get all the stuff in the baby's room (and purchase any additional items you may need) before the baby arrives.

I think it should be at least a month and a half before your due date even if you don't know the sex because there's a lot of gifts out there for boys and girls and certain color schemes that fit girls and boys so don't worry even if you don't wan't to find out the sex of the baby your going to find things just find !

i say at 6 months that way you know what you have and what you need to get. you can start your baby room this way so its not at the last minute. the closer you get to having your child the more your going to feel you need to take care of so 6 months is a good time. you should know the gender by now only if you want. if you don't want to know then yellow ,light green are good colors to go by and any other nutrual colors
congrats hope ive helped

Around 7-8 months if you know the sex. If you don't know, you can still have one and hope you get neutral stuff or you want ,wait until after the baby is born and then have one. That was you know you won't get pink stuff for a boy!

where I come from other people usually do the shower for you. Maybe you can mention to a sister or best friend or your mom that you do want a shower. Truth be known they may be planning you a surprise shower already.

It's tradtionally held about a month before your due date. If you want to do it earlier, go for it. Do what you like and invite who you want. It's up to you, it's usually your last party before the baby, so do what you feel is best.

I had mine 2 months before my due date......I was big enough that I filled out my maternity clothes nicely, but still had 2 months to exchange what I did not need and get what I did.
