I had a dvd-rw drive on this computer but now i cant even watch dvds .What should I do?

Find the manufacturer's web site and download new drivers. That is the only thing you can do.

You should have gotten a CD with the drive. It will have the drivers and software for both DVD burning and watching. If you do not have the CD, check the web site of the manufacturer. They will probably have it as a free download.

You might just ry doing a regular Windows Update. It might pick up the drivers.
Sometimes you have to reinstall the motherboard inf file. Check with motherboard or PC manufacturer.

First of all, be more descriptive of the kind of platform you're running. If you're using a Mac, if it's still under complimentary (or extended) AppleCare, send it back and they should send you a new one. If you're using a PC, however, try sending it in to someone computer-smart (if you're not yourself) and they should fix the problem for you.
