Please help me

If you want to be upstanding and kind, you will tell your friend that you want to spend some time with just the one friend and leave it to the friend to handle the friend, if you know what I am saying. It reminds me of when my mom got remarried. I wanted to spend alone time with my mother and she felt that I was not being accepting of her new husband. What could I do, except to say "I think I have a right to maintain a private relationship with just you - there are times when we all 3 can get together, no problem, but I am primarily interested in spending quality time with you. If you don't feel that way, that is up to you, but I think we will both lose out on something if we have this 3rd person around now all the time."
If you are determined not to say anything - maybe you can find a 4th friend that will hit it off with your 3rd wheel so that you can at least have some time with your friend while the other one is occupied.

First of all you didn't give to much information, as to why you want to get rid of him.If your friend is really into him then I would just let it go until they don't want to be bothered with him.

Stop returning is phone calls...become very busy and try to not run into him as much as possible...just become really really busy as where you have no time for him...eventually you guys will drift apart.

Just tell your friend that you want to hang out wiith just him. If he doesnt do anything then threatin him.
