I am a straight guy, but most of my friends at school are girls. i seem to get along with them better. Girls, when you see a guy who has a lot of girl friends and hangs with them, does that turn you off and/or do you think he's gay?

thanks

I would not think that if a guy had a lot of girls as friends that he was gay. It is not a turn-off. However, I don't know how comfortable I would feel in a relationship with all these other females around. I guess it would depend how long he has known the girl and if she had a boyfriend.

It can go both ways. It shows more of a feminin side to the male since he is no male influence around; can he stand his ground? Your girl might think she's the one wearing the pants in the relationship.

The idea of female friends can lead to many downsides. Girls would be jealous knowing that all your friends are girls. It can come off as jealousy because they will feel like you're not giving them individual attention. Girls love knowing that they're special; knowing that they're the only woman in their man's life that matters (other then their mother of course.) And as you may know, girls can be catty ;).

It wouldn't be as much of a turn off if you went out with one of your girl friends since they're already aware of the idea that you have friends that are girls. Your only option is to be friends with a girl first, be patient and then show interest. That way, she'll already be aware that you have friends that are the same sex. Make her feel special and let her know how you are.

Speaking from experience, all the guys I knew in high school (and college) who hung out with the girls turned out to be gay. A couple of them accepted it in college others took longer. There was nothing wrong with it but they did wind up hurting a few woman (wives and children too) before they discovered themselves.

I do think girls would find it a turn off if you hung out with girls all the time. Girls are catty and competitive with each other. Jealousies would ruin a relationship quickly. They'd probably eventually consider you a player if you continued to hang out and date them. Good way to wind up friendless.

No, it's not. Then again, I'm French, and French teenagers don't react the same way as American ones, apparently. We don't really have all those stereotypical behaviours. I knew a guy who always hanged out with girls, and he was pretty popular! He also had boy friends, but usually stayed with girls.

I too have some more girl friends. I don't think any girl would just bluntly assume you are gay. Don't worry, they won't be turned off. As long as you don't flirt a lot with them, other girls may be jealous, or be a little worried, but like I said, don't flirt with them at all. As long as all your friends are NOT girls, then they won't think you are gay.

I'd usually think he's a player or that maybe he's gay or attracted to one of the girls.

I know a few guys that hang around lots of girls and I was actually interested in one of them. It got kinda annoying seeing him around all those girls, even though I knew that he wasn't interested in any of them.

He doesn't have to be gay but I would be a lil worried. Some girls give into certain guys and guys feed into that. I'm not tryin to be mean but why can't you get along with the same sex?

I have a best friend like you...it is not a turn-off....but unfortunatly i believe he might be a little gay....but i also have some friends who are also really good friends with him (girls) and one of them has a really big crush on him...so it could swing either way!

No it doesn't turn me off, I think it is great when any guy has alot of girl friends, it shows that he isn't centered on anything below the belt, he has other priorities. You are the most awesome guy!!!
