If I like Jackie Collins' books, which other authors should I check out?

Also, if you can, please list the titles of all Jackie Collins' books. I have about ten of them, so I would like to order the rest of her collection, but I don't know which other books she has.

Oh, and, could someone please tell me the difference between a paperback book and a hard cover book, is the only difference the covers themselves? Because I've read some books which had "For the first time in paperback" type of disclaimers, so I was wondering what's all the hype about this?

Books generally come out in hardcover first, the big sellers, which are more expensive. Then a while later, the book will come out in paperback, which is less expensive.

It is just the cover. Hardbacks are more expensive, so they will sell it in that format first, to make more money.
