Hey daydreamer. I have done many of them and my top tips are to drink coffee and if u have any, take some pro plus. Also keep taking short breaks every hour or so where you have a walk round and try working in different places. Dont work in the same place all night as this will make you bored and you might fall asleep. Good luck with it xx

Don't drink too much coffee or coke, the caffeine will work for awhile, but then it will kind of give you a buzz and you'll be less efficient.
Do, however, drink a lot of water. Just keep sipping on it, or tea, which gives some caffeine, but not the same effect as coffee, usually. Eat light, and get up and take a little walk around the house or dorm or whatever once in a while, resting your eyes, taking deep breths, and getting in some fresh night air during your break.
Don't procrastinate and keep putting off your starting time later and later.
And put a sign on your door. Do Not Disturb.
Good luck.

What a coincidence, I have a bloody 3000 word essay to hand in tomorrow at 2pm, lol.
You wouldn't happen to be studying advanced management accounting at UEA? I would be in the library trying to keep myself awake. If you want, we can help keep each other awake lol

Staying up all night won't do much for you. Studies show that you retain more after a nap, so break up your all-nighter into hour long study sessions with a half hour nap inbetween each one.

3000 words isn't that much...you won't be up all night. Try some coffee at any rate.

If the weather is not too bad and you live somewhere nice, try writing outdoors, or in a room with lots of fresh air.

Tut tut, you've had all weekend to do it. hee hee - kind of thing I do, that, only I'm self-employed so it's not a very good thing!! Just focus, relax, drink plenty of water and get it done. Only way forward.
