I would say they have a decent chance. The off season is young and the draft hasn't taken place yet, but they are a strong team filled with savvy veterans and young talent that mesh well with each other. The defense could use some improvement, but if the playoffs mean anything, even the defense looks ok. I think the Colts and the Eagles will be the teams to beat next year.

I was pretty convinced that after the disapointment in the playoffs, the chargers would be in the superbowl next year. Then they suddenly lost all their coaches. The colts have a pretty good shot at making it back to the superbowl. If they were in the NFC I'd say they'd definitely be back, but unfortunately the AFC is stacked with many talented teams and anything can happen once the playoffs come around.

If they were in the NFC, I would say yes but in the AFC you just dont know. There are way to many good teams. Plus anything could happen. Last year the Steelers looked bound to repeat and go back to the Superbowl but a tragic accident and the lost of 2 key guys stopped that in its track. The same thing with the Seahawks with injuries to Alexander, Hasselback, and almost every player in that defensive backfield they almost missed the playoffs. The Colts are due to lose a few key players due to the salary cap so at this point they have about as good a chance as anyone.

The colts have a chance as any team does early last year anyone who said new orleans would be playing for the right to represent the nfc in the superbowl youd of been laughed at. The colts will have a hard time though seeing how teams are learning to defend them more and more they will always score points but not like they used to plus with jacksonville and tennesee in there division theyve got there hands full with two up and comming teams plus once youve won the big game the next year everyone who plays you is gonna hard to be the world champs. teams that will be right there ready to knock indy out of repeating are new england, san diego, the jets(believe it or not) baltimore, posibly cincinatti and a couple others that just need to get over the hump aka jacksonville, tennesee, kansas city, denve. hope this answers your question

Well....it's up to their defense I think. If they can play like they did in the playoffs...they'll have another great shot at being there. The offense doesn't appear to be changing at all, so they'll still score a ton of points, but getting some insurance on defense in Free Agency or the Draft would put the Colts easily in front of the pack.

in todays nfl it is extremely hard to return to the superbowl just check the stats seattle was the first team in a while who lost the superbowl and actually managed to return to the playoffs
the colts have some key players who's contract have expired will depend a lot on who they sign and draft to fill there voids

In these days of free agency and frequent injury I would venture to say that it would be extremely difficult. Add to this the fact that everybody is gunning for them. Also Peyton Manning's head seems to be physically expanding over the years which leads me to believe that spiders have burrowed into his skull and have been nesting for years. It is quite possible that his forehead will explode before next season making it near impossible for the Colts to repeat.

Oh, of course they can! They are an excellent team with one of the greatest QBs in history and a great coach who has finally proven he can finally win the "big ones."

But as someone else noted, the desperate Chargers, especially without "One and Out" Schottenheimer will be DEADLY!

They can, but they will have a lot of stiff competition in the AFC. Also, Super Bowl winning teams usually lose a lot of players to free agency. Once you get that ring, other teams are willing to pay more for you.
