No. Our daughter has two middle names. I've heard of people who have names so long that they've made it into the Guiness Book of World Records!

there is no limit that I'm aware of... but take a minute and think of everything that that name is going to have to go on.. and possible ramifications

My mother gave me 3 middle names, and my first name is a long one.. when it came time to get my driver's license I was so proud, I passed the written with flying colors, the driving part too, waited in line to get my license.. only to be told that my name wouldn't fit. It all has to go on the first line in that state.

I was heartbroken. My Step-dad took me the courthouse and we started the paperwork to abbreiveate my middle names. It took 3 months to go through the courts.

My children have 2 middles, but I checked the letter count... LOL

no legislation in the uk as far as i know. How many do you really want your child to have?? Is more than 2 middle names just a bit indecisive?!

no but you need to remember when your child goes to school the longer and wild a name is the harder its going to be for him or her to spell and if its real long your child will be behind other kids when it comes to writing, spelling his name

Ask the hispanic's. They will tell you of course not. Those ladies have a zillion middles names.

I have two myself. So does my son.

One is enough unless you want to confuse your child.
